    Presenter is Dan Sportiello and emcee is Todd Van Orman.  Presenter will ask these two questions:  "Is our economy fair?" and "Would your answer change were you to be randomly reassigned to another rung in the economic ladder?"  Philosopher John Rawls asked this question in his Theory of Justice.  In this session, Rawl's answer will be put to the test.

    Tickets can be purchased online; cost is $15.00 per person.  Event is sponsored by  Humanities North Dakota in partnership with the Bismarck Historical Society.

    Doug Wick, author of "North Dakota Place Names" and 70-year veteran postcard collector will share his knowledge of the United States postal history centered on Bismarck, ND. Doug will offer names, places, and defunct businesses that will spark memories, and conversations about Bismarck's earlier days along with images of artifacts and items from his personal collection.
