What is the Bismarck Historical Society?

Founded in 2005, the mission of the Bismarck Historical Society is to learn, preserve and promote the history of Bismarck, North Dakota.

    Presenter is Dan Sportiello and emcee is Todd Van Orman.  Presenter will ask these two questions:  "Is our economy fair?" and "Would your answer change were you to be randomly reassigned to another rung in the economic ladder?"  Philosopher John Rawls asked this question in his Theory of Justice.  In this session, Rawl's answer will be put to the test.

    Tickets can be purchased online; cost is $15.00 per person.  Event is sponsored by  Humanities North Dakota in partnership with the Bismarck Historical Society.
